Dave made us pasta with turkey Italian sausage. It was really good. He brought a little table into the living room and lit a candle and we had it on the floor. He is such a romantic dude!

This is sooooo good. I love it. This is what you will need:
2 1/2 c of Cap'n Crunch Cereal
1 c of Cornflakes (plain)
1/2 c of milk
1/2 c of flour
1/2 tsp of black pepper
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
2 lbs. of boneless, skinless, chicken breast
1/4 lb. fresh green beans
1/2 lb. baby new potatoes
Preheat the oven to 350.You will then need to crush and smash your Cap'n Crunch and your Corn Flakes together. I used a gallon sized Ziplock bag and a rolling pin, but you could use your hands, a canned food item or your head... haha Anyway, grind up the cereal. captain crunch and corn flakes, crushed.
Stir together the onion powder, garlic powder and black pepper and then combine with the flour. Put it aside. In a different bowl, beat your egg and milk together. Set aside. You should wash and dry your chicken. No one wants Salmonella!
boneless, skinless chicken breast
Your assembly line should look something like this...Chicken, Flour Mixture, Egg/Milk Mixture and Cereal Mixture
Place the chicken on a non-stick foil lined cookie sheet. Bake for 1 hr. You can also fry, but you don't want your hand looking like mine do you?? Plus, baking is so much healthier!
While the chicken is cooking, you can rinse your green beans. You need to snap them in half and snap off each in. Put in a pot of water with about a Tbs. of butter (optional). I also add fresh cut garlic. (optional)
green beans snapped and in water with butter minced garlic
Cover the beans and set to low heat. Next, you need to wash your potatoes.
Cut them into wedge sized pieces.
Put them in a pot of water with fresh garlic, and whatever else you like. I added rosemary and parsley as well. Bring the potatoes to a boil, stirring occasionally.
Once they were tender, I drained them and put them in a mixing bowl. I added some butter to taste, about a 1/4 c of milk and some more garlic powder and then I used my electric mixer to mash them/mix it all together.
I covered them while we waited for the chicken to finish. Then, strain the green beans and put them in something pretty. haha. Here is the finished product!the final product.
This is one of my favorite things to make because it's so easy and it tastes so good. Here is a quick screencap of my shopping list for this recipe...
I use Camino instead of cumin..
We always top it with freshly shredded cheese and a side of crackers. Sorry for the poor quality photos. I was hungry and not really paying attention! You can make this with no meat if you are a vegetarian, or simply just don't want meat. I have also made it with ground sirloin. All good. I hope you enjoy!
Today, I took a personal day from work. More like a mental day. We all need those right? Dave had the day off, so we both slept in.
I got up and watched Remember Me. It was such a great movie. I was very surprised... that's all I want to say, because I hate ruining movies for people.
I just want to say that you should watch it.
Dave and I decided to go see Inception. I have really been excited about this movie for a while. I really wanted to see it. So, we stopped by Starbucks first. (We needed our fix) which brings me to my daily photo...
I only have good things to say about this movie. Christopher Nolan, who directed Batman Begins, wrote this movie about 10 years ago. He felt that he didn't have enough experience filming big movies, so he went on to direct Batman Begins and The Dark Knight before tackling the massive project of Inception. I feel that it is well written, and was the filming was extraordinary. I read that a lot of the special effects were tricks with the camera and not CGI, which I love and respect. I hate it when even the blood in some movies is now CGI. It's pretty lame. Anyways, we enjoyed the movie... We headed home and Dave stopped and got us pizza and beer. We ate our pizza, drank our beer and I made Dave watch Zombieland. I had already seen it, but Dave had missed out. It's such a funny movie, and they even do a name drop of a tiny city that I once lived in...Garland, Texas... haha. Dave really seemed to like the movie, so maybe he will take my suggestions more seriously for now on... haha
We went to Mambos in Fort Worth because my Guy's band had a show there. Every Wednesday night they stream live from this place to. Its not up yet on their youtube channel, or I would link it up. This guy in the picture above went on before my boyfriend's band. He did a good job.Sadly, I cannot remember his name. I had to many PBR's that night.... haha. Here is my boyfriend's band, Man Factory. They are awesome. If you have never heard their music, check it out HERE...

I absolutely adore Netflix. I LOVE it. So many movies to chose from... So many shows to watch and get addicted to. I have a running list of all of the movies that I would like to see, and movies that I have seen in my little notebook or on my iPhone notepad. I am a HUGE movie buff and will watch almost anything. I love to be sucked into someone else's life while watching a movie. I get super excited when an email from Netflix pops up and tells me what movie is coming next... Which brings me to my daily photo for Tuesday.

I have been inkling for a new tat... I am not sure where I want it, but I do know what I want. I either want the word "Gypsy" or an actual Gypsy... The story behind this is that my grandparents used to call me this when I was a baby and even when I was older. It was their nickname for me. It's really the only nickname that I have ever had. Its very special to me because both of my grandparents are now gone, so it's my way of paying and homage to them. Here are some pictures that in the direction I want to go...
